How to Jazz Up Left Over Adobo

As for us Filipinos, Adobo is a regular meal.  but, how do you twist a leftover adobo?  here are some suggestions:

Option 1:

Reheat leftover adobo and add strips of bamboo shoots (labong as we call it) and walah! you have a whole new dish your family and friends will love!
Just make sure to clean the bamboo shoots thoroughly before cooking. How to? Submerge the shoots in boiling water for 2 minutes then drain. Do this twice before cooking :)

Option 2

Shred leftover adobo meat.  Let it dry in room temperature then deep fry.  Instant adobo flakes!  You can eat this as it is or use it as a toppings on your congee =)

Option 3

Use leftover adobo meat to make adobo rice.
in a wok or pan, heat leaftover adobo (remove bay leaf and whole peppercorns if you have).  Minimize adding the sauce for this will make the rice soggy.  once heated, add leftover rice and stir constantly until rice are fully coated with adobo.

Adobo is very versatile.  Use your imagination and experiment.  There's no harm in trying!
