Steamed Dory with Ginger and Bell Pepper

There are some people who'd rather stay away from fried foods just like the mom of a friend, Michelle, who requested for this recipe.  Good thing I have frozen cream dory in the freezer so I was able to make this.  And had it for lunch yesterday.

Here is a very simple, light and quick meal to make.

Ingredients
200gms cream dory
1 Tbsp lemon juice (or kalamansi)

Marinade:
dash of pepper
pinch of rock salt
dash of Japanese assorted pepper (optional)
1 Tbsp regular soy sauce
1 Tbsp Knorr seasoning

Toppings:
2 Tbsp fresh ginger, julienned (or cut into thin strips)
1 small red bell pepper, jullienned
1 small white onion, cut lengthwise in thin strips

Procedure:
Rub the fish with the lemon juice.
Soak cream dory with marinading ingredients for 10 minutes.
Discard marinade and assemble cream dory with the toppings over an aluminum foil.

Seal in edges to contain the filling and juices.

Bring to boil water in steamer.  Once bubbles appear, place the wrapped fish. Cover and steam for 5 minutes.

Remove foil and serve hot.
